Thank you for your inquiry. In the letter we do not issue any opinion. Based on the facts presented to us, we are merely communicating to the Bay St. Louis officials our understanding of the issues and the city’s possible remedies to correct what had happened. I hope this is helpful.

    Mr. Dendy,

I’ve got a quick question regarding the letter you sent. In it, you opine that there was no wrongdoing by the administration in Bay St Louis with the asset forfeiture funds that are in question. Is this your opinion as a CPA, or as an attorney? I’m a retired CPA, and we didn’t make such calls. Maybe things have changed.. Or, is there an attorney in your office who made the call?

    Just wondering.

Thank you in advance for your response.
